We are entering our second growth phase and are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to lead development projects based on technical leadership.
We expect you to drive collaboration with cross-functional teams, design and implement robust software solutions, and optimize system performance and scalability.
This position will play a key role in shaping our technical direction and delivering high quality software, and we look forward to hearing from applicants who can take on challenging projects and make a significant impact.
Provide technical leadership to a multinational and primarily full remote engineering team to design new features and enhance existing features.
Advise the leadership team on key technology and product roadmap considerations
Work with the product team to prioritize roadmap initiatives and be involved in the product ideation process
Continually drive our engineering standards (code reuse, documentation, testing, etc.) and levels of service forward
Take high-level business requirements and develop the technical details behind them
Uphold high standards for engineering and product quality and mentor team members to do the same
Technical mentor to the growing engineering team

Business-level English
7+ years of software engineering experience, 3+ years of technical leadership experience
Proven experience as a team lead or similar leadership role
Excellent communication skills to lead teams and interact with stakeholders
Deep understanding of software engineering best practices
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
Experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational database
Familiarity with container technology
Comfortable picking up new technologies
Experience as a Staff Engineer or similar leadership role
Conversational-level Japanese
Experience working at a Seed or Series-A startup
Experience working with an Agile Development Team
Experience using modern tools for Test Case Management
Experience with functional programming (Elixir, Haskell, Scala, etc.)

『REMETIS』 is a BtoB SaaS that streamlines the analysis and management of real estate and geographic information.It is easy to use; simply drag and drop property information in PDF files to create a database. Data is tied to location information, and both public information and information useful for analyzing in-house real estate investments and loans are centralized with various data such as past land sales history, rents, yields, land prices, and development cases, and can be searched in a single location. The above enables speedy and highly accurate information collection and profitability studies, as well as revitalization of meetings, standardization of operations, paperless operation, and reduction of opportunity loss due to missing out on good deals.
